The device comprises three reactors that have an inflow opening for the supply of wastewater in its base area (2), and an outflow opening arranged in its top area (6) for cleaned wastewater. A three-phase lamella clarifier (10) is arranged in the top area of the reactor below the outflow opening for the cleaned wastewater and ends with its lower end in mounting position in a circulation tube (5) leading to base area of the reactor. The circulation tube is arranged at a side wall of the reactor. A pipeline (8) for supplying wastewater in the reactor ends in the circulation tube. The device comprises three reactors that have an inflow opening for the supply of wastewater in its base area (2), and an outflow opening arranged in its top area (6) for cleaned wastewater. A three-phase lamella clarifier (10) is arranged in the top area of the reactor below the outflow opening for the cleaned wastewater and ends with its lower end in mounting position in a circulation tube (5) leading to base area of the reactor. A pipeline (8) for supplying wastewater in the reactor ends in the circulation tube and a pipeline is arranged for the supply of cleaned wastewater from preceding reactor to the circulation tube of the subsequent reactor. The reactors are arranged to each other in cascade-like manner, where the upper reactor has no base. An independent claim is included for a method for anaerobic cleaning of wastewater.
