The station (1) has a control device (8) connected with optical or acoustic signal detectors (17, 18). The control device sends a request for delivery of optical or acoustic signals (15, 16) to an end terminal (2) of a preset radio identifier (11) e.g. unique device identifier and media access control (MAC) address of device, by a transceiver (9), and programs the end terminal when the detectors detect the signals. The control device obtains information about type of the signals, and sends the request based on the information to the end terminal. The wireless end terminals are equipped with an optical and/or acoustic signal device e.g. LED, illuminated LCD display and/or loudspeaker or beeper. An independent claim is also included for a method for radio-based programming of wireless end terminals. |
