PURPOSE: A reverse steer driving control system of an automobile having all wheel steering function and a method thereof are provided to secure the visual field of a driver to the maximum and to promote the accuracy and convenience of steering when an automobile moves backward. CONSTITUTION: A reverse steer driving control system of an automobile having all wheel steering function comprises a reverse driving selection switch(100) selecting the reverse driving of an automobile, a video taking unit(200) recording images at the rear of an automobile when selecting the reverse driving of the reverse driving selection switch, a display unit(300) displaying the recorded images by the video taking unit, a reverse steer operating unit(400) enabling to operate by a driver, and a reverse steer driving controller(600) providing information on a steering angle to a 3-axis steering ECU(500) controlling a 3-axis steering shaft in case of operating the reverse steer operating unit.
