PURPOSE: A wankel rotary engine having dual chambers is provided to maintain air tightness through both end faces of two main chambers and to prevent damage to a side chamber by preventing damage to an apex chamber. CONSTITUTION: A wankel rotary engine having dual chambers comprises main chambers(200), rotor covers(300), and a rotor(100). Both ends of the main chambers touch the inner wall of a main housing. The main chambers have curved spring units. Each rotor cover has a main chamber guide, a combustion chamber, a spring port, and a fixing unit. The main chamber guides vertically move the main chambers. The spring ports connect the spring units to the combustion chambers. The rotors are coupled to the rotor covers. An oil chamber and an oil ring are coupled to the front and rear of each rotor.
