The method involves mixing natural fibers e.g. elephant grass, with a bonding agent, which comprises a solid polymer on basis of polyacrylonitrile in form of fibers. A fiber board (10) is formed from a molding composition, and the natural fibers are soaked in a water-paraffin-emulsion before mixing the natural fibers with the bonding agent and treated after soaking with apple vinegar. The mixing of the natural fibers and a polymer is obtained by distortion of air, and a curing agent with an ammonium nitrate is added to the molding composition. An independent claim is also included for a fiber board comprising a bonding agent.
