<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer recording medium that enables a recording of a good thermal transfer image because the maximum amount of a transfer density is increased while the lowest density area is lowered. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer recording medium 1 has, on one surface of a support 2, a thermal transfer layer wherein at least a yellow thermal transfer layer 3, a magenta thermal transfer layer 4 and a cyan thermal transfer layer 5, are provided surface-sequentially and repeatedly in the longitudinal direction of the support 1. The magenta thermal transfer layer 4 and the cyan thermal transfer layer 5 include at least two kinds of dyes, respectively. A dye occupying 1 wt.% or more, and 10 wt.% or less of all the dyes included in the magenta thermal transfer layer 4, and a dye occupying 20 wt.% or more, and 80 wt.% or less of all the dyes included in the cyan thermal transfer layer 5, are the same dyes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
