<p>A call and control method, apparatus and system for multimedia ring back tone service are provided, which is related to multimedia ring back tone service, and resolves the problem that the normal voice channel establishment is influenced when the terminal does not have the early media negotiation capability. In the embodiment of the invention, the terminal capability information are carried within the call request originated from the calling terminal, so that the call control entity or application support function entity determines whether the calling terminal supports the multimedia ring back tone service or not, if the calling terminal does not support the multimedia ring back tone service, i.e. the calling terminal does not have the early media negotiation capability, then the request to establish early media negotiation channel between the calling terminal and the media resource treating function entity is not initiated. The embodiment of the invention is mainly used in multimedia ring back tone service system.</p> |
