<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing original plate and plate-making method thereof, which produces a lithographic printing plate having an excellent ink impression and high printing durability and achieves excellent on-machine developability. <P>SOLUTION: A lithographic printing original plate includes an image recording layer which contains (A) an infrared absorbing dye, (B) a polymerization initiator, (C) a polymerizable compound, and (D) a binder polymer having an alkylene oxide group, and can form an image with removal of an unexposed region using at least one of printing ink and damping water on a printing machine after exposure; and (E) a protective layer which contains a hydrophilic polymer having a repeating unit with a specific structure; which are arranged in this order on a substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
