PURPOSE: A standby power saving device is provided to efficiently save power by supplying saved standby power information to a user in real time. CONSTITUTION: An outlet(30) is connected to an external power source by a first electric wiring(20). A power switch(40) controls power supplied to the outlet. A power measuring unit(50) measures power consumed per unit time via a first electric wiring. A control unit(60) is connected to the power switch and the power measuring unit. A use switch(70) connects the power switch to the control unit by the operation of a user.
