<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a surface temperature of a cast piece casted by a continuous casting machine with high accuracy by infrared sensor type surface temperature measuring equipment without being influenced by a secondary cooling water remained on a surface of the cast piece, moisture generated from the secondary cooling water and white smoke which is condensation of the moisture. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for measuring the surface temperature of the cast piece which measures the surface temperature of the cast piece 10 being continuously casted in the continuous casting machine by the infrared sensor type surface temperature measuring equipment 13 having a measuring wavelength of 5.0 μm or smaller and infrared light absorption of 20% or lower, a distance between a condensing lens 16 of the surface temperature measuring equipment and the surface of the cast piece is made within a range between 100-800 mm, 10 NL/min or greater of gas is jetted out of the surface temperature measuring equipment to the cast piece, the secondary cooling water and vapor are excluded from a portion between the condensing lens and the surface of the cast piece and a portion of the cast piece where a temperature is measured by the gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
