PURPOSE: A character inputting apparatus and a method thereof are provided to conveniently input a character through a joystick. CONSTITUTION: Memory(110) stores a consonant and a vowel. A character display control unit(120) detects one or more moving direction data according to the operation of a joystick unit. The character display control unit displays the detected moving direction data in a clockwise direction. The character display control unit displays the consonant or the vowel from the memory. |
