<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in which: some customers do not answer an inquiry item in a conventional investigation method; and customers' subjectivity, vanity, etc have influenced the accurate understanding of customers' need. <P>SOLUTION: An article having a wirelessly communicable chip (wireless chip) mounted is given to a customer. Moreover, an antenna is provided at an entrance, an exit, and each of a plurality of points in a salesroom of a shop. When the customer approaches the entrance, the exit, or the plurality of points, the location information and the time information are written in the wireless chip through the antenna provided at the approached point. By reading out the information written in the wireless chip, how the customer has moved in the salesroom etc is determined.
