The arrangement (10) has ventilators e.g. axial flow fans (12a, 12b) or radial fans, arranged opposite to each other and generating air flows and defining a flow channel (16), where the flow channel is selectively opened or closed with hinged flaps (24a, 24b). The flaps are coupled with one another such that one of the flaps is closed while opening the other flap and vice versa. The flaps are provided at opposite sides of the arrangement and coupled over a joint lever (26). An air duct is defined between an outer aperture and an inner aperture. An independent claim is also included for a regenerative exhaust and ventilation system comprising a ventilator arrangement.
