<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bamboo charcoal-contained wall paper having a high absorption effect of bad smell substances and allergic materials, attaining a humidity conditioning action and a far-infrared radiation effect as those of a conventional product, and having reduced manufacturing cost; and a method for manufacturing the same effectively. <P>SOLUTION: Bamboo charcoal-contained wall paper 10 comprises lining paper 11, a bamboo charcoal powder layer 12 coated on the lining paper, and a decorative sheet 13 having permeability, provided on the bamboo charcoal powder layer. The bamboo charcoal powder layer 12 is formed by applying a solvent having bamboo charcoal powder dispersed therein and drying the solvent, and the decorative sheet 13 is made by subjecting calender processing to a nonwoven fabric or a thermoplastic resin.
