<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of removing a defective portion in a medium electrical resistance portion existing in a portion of a film. <P>SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a film capacitor is to manufacture a film capacitor having a metalized film in which a metal film is formed on at least one side of the film. This method has a forming process to form the metalized film having a plurality of divided films 14a, 14b formed by electrically dividing the metal film by slits 17, 18 and a fuse 19 for electrically connecting between the divided films 14a, 14b, a preheating process to remove the metal film around an insulation defective portion existing in the metalized film by impressing a voltage on the metalized film, and a fusing process to impress a prescribed voltage, by which a current to short-circuit the defective portion 42 in the metalized film and the fuse 19 can be fused, on the metalized film simultaneously with the preheating process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
