摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a long-term cycle operation, higher burnup and an increase of temperature of a coolant at a reactor core outlet, through not reducing the core properties of a fast reactor by using Pu having a different isotope composition ratio, and especially mitigating strain in output distribution by control rods. <P>SOLUTION: The fast reactor core includes a plurality of fuel assemblies with a fuel composed of a mixture of plutonium fuel and depleted uranium loaded, a plurality of blanket assemblies 10 surrounding the whole fuel assemblies, a plurality of adjustment control rods 4 and a plurality of safety control rods 5. A ratio of abundance of Pu241 and Pu240 loaded to the fuel assemblies 26, 36 adjacent to the control rods 4 to the whole plutonium is larger than a ratio of abundance of Pu241 and Pu240 loaded to the other fuel assemblies 27, 28, 37, 38, 39 to the whole plutonium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
