摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device that is suitable for preventing the generation of deposits caused by the flow-in of a large amount of combustion gas into an injection hole when a deposit deposition condition is established. <P>SOLUTION: The control device of a fuel injection valve having a sack and the injection hole which is a passage for making the sack and a combustion chamber communicate with each other includes: a metal component detector which detects whether a metal component is contained in fuel; a fuel injection valve temperature estimator which estimates a temperature of the tip of the fuel injection valve. The metal component detector which is under the condition that the deposits are deposited in the injection hole detects that the metal component is contained in the fuel, and when a temperature estimated by the fuel injection valve temperature estimator is not lower than a prescribed value, the metal component detector performs control so that the fuel injection valve injects fuel to the rear stage of an expansion stroke. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
