摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon-coated catalyst material for a solid polymer fuel cell in which electron conductivity can be enhanced without changing the catalyst activity of a non-platinum catalyst material, and to provide production method therefor, an electrode catalyst layer, and a membrane electrode assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A non-platinum catalyst material 11a and either an organic compound having a structure where 3-5 benzene rings are bonded and/or a derivative of the organic compound are mixed, and then carbonized at a temperature in the range of 500&deg;C-800&deg;C thus producing a carbon-coated catalyst material 11 where a high crystallinity electron conductive carbon 11b is created on the surface of the non-platinum catalyst material 11a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
