<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear transmission unit in which a gear meshing part of gear sets that drive and couple between input and output shafts coaxially butt-fitted is free from tooth face interference even when a shaft crossing angle is generated between the input and the output shafts. <P>SOLUTION: When an output shaft 9 receives a bending moment β by lateral force of a tire, a shaft crossing angle around a bearing 16 is generated between an input shaft 8 and an output shaft 9, which changes the distance between shafts between a sun gear 11 and a pinion large-diameter gear 13a. In this condition, tooth face interference occurs in a meshing part between the sun gear 11 and the pinion large-diameter gear 13a in a lower side where the distance between the shafts decreases, which results in reduction in the strength of the sun gear 11 and of the pinion large-diameter gear 13a or degradation in durability due to a poor meshing rate. In order to prevent these problems, the minimum distance between shafts is set between the sun gear 11 and the pinion large-diameter gear 13a, the minimum distance necessary to leave a tooth face clearance in the meshing part even when the shaft crossing angle is at the maximum, and thereby, no tooth face interference occurs even when the maximum shaft crossing angle is generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
