<p>A touch panel configured so as to be able to detect the touched position on an operating surface, wherein bridging parts which connect electrode pads with one another are hardly visible. A touch panel (2) is provided with a substrate (11), Y-direction electrodes (21) (first electrodes) formed so as to extend in one direction on the substrate (11), and X-direction electrodes (22) (second electrodes) formed, on the substrate (11), so as to extend in a direction which intersects with the Y-direction electrodes (21). The X-direction electrodes (22) are provided with a plurality of X-direction electrode pads (22a) (second electrode pads) arranged so as to sandwich the Y-direction electrodes (21) therebetween, and bridging parts (23) for electrically connecting the X-direction electrode pads (22a) with one another by extending over the Y-direction electrodes (21). The bridging parts (23) are formed from a transparent conductive material and are disposed more towards the substrate (11) side than the Y-direction electrodes (21).</p> |
