PURPOSE: A unique identification number giving and verifying system and method thereof are provided to generate UDN from a CAS client through a seed ID. CONSTITUTION: A seed ID generation and transfer server(100) generates a seed ID. A CAS(Conditional Access System) client(200) generates the unique identification number through the seed ID. A unique device number verification server(400) verifies a unique identification number through a subscriber management system(300). The unique device number verification server requests conditional access service registration to a CAS server(500).
