<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation device for washing and disinfection of an endoscope for achieving the enhancement of the reliability of washing and disinfection evaluation by certainly capturing the adherend (bacteria) remaining in the pipeline of the endoscope to which washing and disinfection treatment is applied. <P>SOLUTION: After the bacteria adhered to the pipeline of the endoscope are released by allowing a release solution to flow through the pipeline after washing and disinfection, the release solution is filtered by the filter 60 of a bacteria capturing means 16 to capture the bacteria contained in the release solution by the filter 60 and the washing and disinfection evaluation of the endoscope is performed on the basis of a bacteria capturing state. At this time, for example, a sherbet-like release solution prepared by mixing a solid phase substance with a liquid phase substance is allowed to flow through the pipeline of the endoscope as the release solution.
