<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel polycarbonate diol giving a polycarbonate-based polyurethane which has high hardness and excellent mar resistance, has excellent hydrophilicity, and is useful for applications such as paints, coatings, synthetic/artificial leathers, and high-performance elastomers; to provide a polyurethane which is formed using the polycarbonate diol as a raw material; and to provide an actinic-energy-ray-curable polymer composition which gives a cured film having excellent stain resistance and hardness. <P>SOLUTION: The polycarbonate diol is obtained by reacting two specific diols with a carbonic acid diester in the presence of a transesterification catalyst which is a compound containing a Group-1 or Group-2 metal of the periodic table, the content of the metal of the transesterification catalyst being 100 weight ppm or less; the polyurethane is obtained using the polycarbonate diol; and the actinic-energy-ray-curable polymer composition contains a urethane (meth)acrylate-based oligomer which is a product of reaction of the polycarbonate diol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
