The first storage subsystem 100A generates a data set, stores the generated data set in the second storage devices 6A2, 6A3, and transmits the data set to the second and third storage subsystems 100B, 100C. Each of the second and third storage subsystems 100B, 100C stores the received data set in the third storage device 6B1 or fifth storage device 6C1, reads a data set from the third or fifth storage device 6B1, 6C1, and stores the write data within the data set in the fourth storage device 6B2 or sixth storage device 6C2.
