A system for authenticating an electronic record device is provided to provide services of selling, returning, exchanging or transacting directly electronic records for the electronic record device according to an authentication result. A system for authenticating an electronic record device comprises a transmitter, a receiver(115) and an effectiveness authenticating unit(120). The transmitter transmits a script, a plug-in or a program to a terminal device connected to an electronic record device. The receiver(115) receives authentication information extracted from the electronic record device by the terminal device on the basis of the script, the plug-in or the program. The effectiveness authenticating unit(120) decodes the received authentication information, if it is encoded, by using a decoding algorithm matched with the encoding algorithm, and authenticates effectiveness matched with the authentication information. |
