<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with a reduced height dimension that can improve operability of a user and reduce restriction such as limitation of installation location. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 includes a support member 30 on which a photoreceptor 21 and an LED light source 23 are mounted. The LED light source 23 is supported on the support member 30 so that the LED light source 23 can be apart from the photoreceptor 21. The support member 30 is arranged on an operation side of the image forming apparatus 10 so that the support member 30 can be drawn out. An opening 31 is formed in the support member 30 so that the photoreceptor 21 can be drawn out. The photoreceptor 21 is positioned outside the opening 31 and fixed on a second photoreceptor support member 42. A moving mechanism is provided on the LED light source 23 for keeping the LED light source 23 away from the photoreceptor 21 in the support member 30 according to the drawing out of the support member 30 and removal of the second photoreceptor support member 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
