<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that can determine whether an electronic apparatus is out of commission, while restricting performance degradation of the electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An output signal of a D/A converter 3 is supplied to a transformer 4. A magnetic field detection part 5 detects a magnetic field generated by the transformer 4 without contacting the transformer 4. A control unit 2 determines whether an electronic apparatus 100 is out of commission on the basis of the output signal of the magnetic field detection part 5. Also, an output signal of a receiving part 12 is supplied to a transformer 14. An output signal of the transformer 14 is supplied to an A/D converter 13. A magnetic field detection part 15 detects a magnetic field generated by the transformer 14 without contacting the transformer 14.
