<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, in which a slice position can be corrected. <P>SOLUTION: A position L<SB POS="POST">i</SB>crossing the liver with respect to an RL direction is detected based on 1D projection data DC<SB POS="POST">rl</SB>, and a profile PR<SB POS="POST">1</SB>representing an integrated value on the position L<SB POS="POST">i</SB>in an AP direction is acquired by specifying the data of the position L<SB POS="POST">i</SB>from 2D projection image data I<SB POS="POST">CO</SB>. Also, a data collection sequence AS is carried out to acquire a profile PR<SB POS="POST">2</SB>representing projection data on the position L<SB POS="POST">i</SB>in the AP direction. Then, based on the profile PR<SB POS="POST">1</SB>and the profile PR<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, slice positions SP<SB POS="POST">1</SB>to SP<SB POS="POST">n</SB>are corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
