<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of suppressing frosting, and surely discharging melted water when defrosting is carried out. <P>SOLUTION: Slits 41 and 41 continuous in a direction along the surface of a tube 21 are formed at the windward side of a fin 22. Thus, heat conduction from a tube 21 to a region between the slits 41 and 41 in the fin 22 is restrained.
