PURPOSE: A cart for mounting a container ship propeller shaft and a mounting method of a container ship propeller shaft using the same are provided to rapidly and accurately combine a propeller shaft without the fluctuation of a floating dock due to the waves of sea water. CONSTITUTION: A cart for mounting a container ship propeller shaft comprises carts(100, 100'), an elevating unit(200) and a drive unit(300). The cart is back and forth moves on a rail, installed on the floor of an engine room of a container ship which is constructed on a floating dock, along the longitudinal direction of a hull. The elevating unit respectively is installed in a pair of carts. The elevating unit supports both ends of the propeller shaft transferred to a crane ship on sea and is elevated on a pair of carts, respectively. The drive unit respectively is installed in a pair of carts. The drive unit transfers the driving force transferring a pair of carts. The drive unit operates the elevating unit.
