<p>Photographic product comprises a support, a silver halide photographic layer, and a stabilising compound of formula I or II: (where R is hydroxyl, alkoxy, or halogen; and R1 is H, alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, hydroxyl, or halogen). The stabilising compound is pref. 3,4-dihydroxy-3-cyclo-butene-1,2-dione and corr. butane, 3-methoxy or 3-hydroxy-4-phenyl-3-cyclobutene-1,2-dione. The compounds prevent the formation of fog in the photographic layers.</p> |
