The purpose of the present invention is to provide a more efficient beamforming technology using a plurality of antennae. Accordingly, provided is a transmission control device which is provided with: a first antenna; a second antenna which is orthogonal to the first antenna, and which shares the same path to a mobile terminal as the first antenna; a third antenna disposed so as to be parallel to the first antenna; a fourth antenna which is orthogonal to the third antenna, and which shares the same path to the mobile terminal as the third antenna; a beam-characteristics determination unit which determines beam directions and polarization characteristics on the basis of a feedback signal received from the mobile terminal; a first phase difference determination unit which determines, as first phase differences, on the basis of the polarization characteristics determined by the beam-characteristics determination unit, the phase difference between the radio waves outputted by the first antenna and the radio waves outputted by the second antenna, and the phase difference between the radio waves outputted by the third antenna and the radio waves outputted by the fourth antenna; a second phase difference determination unit which determines, as second phase differences, on the basis of the beam directions determined by the beam-characteristics determination unit, the phase difference between the radio waves outputted by the first antenna and the radio waves outputted by the third antenna, and the phase difference between the radio waves outputted by the second antenna and the radio waves outputted by the fourth antenna; and a transmission control unit which controls, in accordance with the first phase differences and the second phase differences, the phases of the radio waves outputted by the first, second, third, and fourth antennae. |
