Multipart piston for a cylinder assembly

The piston (10) has two piston parts (11) made of material i.e. metal, non-deformable under pressure. A sealing part is attached between the piston parts and has a cylindrical carrier part (12) made of deformable material i.e. plastic. A piston seal (20) is inserted into a groove (19) that is formed on an outer circumferential surface of the carrier part. The carrier part has tapered parts (13) between which a rod (14) is formed to accommodate the piston parts such that the carrier part engages each piston part with an axial wall section (15) of the carrier part.
