<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desalination system which generates freshwater from seawater with high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The desalination system comprises an evaporation unit which stores seawater, and generates water vapor by sunlight to generate moist gas containing the water vapor, a cooling unit which cools the moist gas generated in the evaporation unit to generate condensed water, a water storage tank which stores the condensed water, a gas heating unit which heats the gas from which the condensed water has been separated, with sunlight, and a seawater heating unit which heats seawater for cooling, used for cooling the moist gas in the cooling unit, with sunlight to send the seawater to the evaporation unit. The cooling unit is equipped with raising piping for raising the moist gas, and lowering piping for lowering the moist gas rising in the raising piping, and the raising piping and the lowering piping are cooled with the seawater for cooling to generate the condensed water on the inner peripheral surfaces of the raising piping and the lowering piping. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
