PURPOSE: An image encoding/decoding method and an image encoding/decoding device thereof are provided to encode or decode the division information of a target encoding/decoding block by using the information of a neighbor block. CONSTITUTION: An image encoding device acquires division information from neighbor blocks to a target encoding block(S110). The image encoding device predicts the division of the target encoding block(S120). The image encoding device encodes the information of the difference between the actual division information and the prediction division information of the target encoding block(S150). The image encoding device transmits the encoded information(S160).
