PURPOSE: A cassette for a paper money discharge device is provided to prevent the decrease of the pressing force of a pressing member by preventing interference between an elastic member and paper money. CONSTITUTION: A pressing unit(40) presses the end of paper money discharged to a paper money discharge hole. A discharging unit discharges paper money through the paper money discharge hole. The pressing unit includes a pressing member(41), an elastic member(49), and an elastic member protecting unit.
