PURPOSE: A touch panel attaching display device is provided to prevent malfunction of a touch panel attaching display device and to reduce the degradation of a measurement value. CONSTITUTION: A touch panel(400) of an electrostatic capacitive type is arranged on a display panel. A front panel is arranged on the touch panel of the electrostatic capacitive type. The touch panel of the electrostatic capacitive type has a plurality of X-electrodes and a plurality of Y-electrodes. One of the X-electrodes or the Y-electrodes is an electrode to which a pulse signal is applied.
