PURPOSE: An artificial hair fiber is provided to ensure excellent heat resistance and flame retardancy by applying polyphenylenesulfide resin. CONSTITUTION: A polyphenylenesulfide-based artificial hair fiber contains polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) resin and quenching agent containing inorganic particles. The fineness of the artificial hair resin is 30-80 denier.
