A plasma display panel and a method for manufacturing an electrode sheet for the same are provided to improve image uniformity of the PDP(Plasma Display Panel) by adopting a ring plasma scheme, where electrodes surround discharge spaces. Plural through-holes penetrate a base plate(110). Discharge units are formed on a front surface of the base plate to surround a front opening of the through-hole. The discharge units are connected to each other along a cross direction of the base plate. First electrodes(120) are arranged to be parallel each other. Second electrodes(130) are arranged on a rear surface of the base plate to cover a rear opening of the through-hole and elongated to cross the first electrodes. A dielectric layer(133) covers a surface of the first electrode and a front surface of the second electrode, which is exposed through the through-hole. A transparent substrate(170) is arranged on the front surface of the base plate to cover the front surface of the discharge unit and define discharge spaces. A fluorescent layer(141) is applied on at least a portion of the discharge space. Discharge gas fills the discharge space. |
