<p>Title esters of formula (I) (where R1 is cyanomethyl or di(carbalkoxy)methyl in which the alkoxy groups are 1-4C) are prepd. by reacting di(p-chlorophenoxy) acetic acid or an alkali metal salt thereof with a cpd. X-R1 (where X is Cl or Br). The products are useful as hypocholesteramics and hypolipaemics.</p> |
