The invention relates to a system for supplying an electrically powered installation (S) with energy, which is arranged along a track for electric traction vehicles (T). Said installation comprises a stationary energy accumulator (10) for making electric energy to be fed to the installation (S) available and a device (20) for transferring electric energy from a traction vehicle (T) passing the stationary energy accumulator (10) to the stationary energy accumulator (10). The energy supply system according to the invention requires little investment and maintenance costs.
