The motor (1) has a rotor (24) storable or mountable coaxial to an annular stator (10) under formation of a radial air gap (22). A cooling device includes a cooling passage (32) extending at the stator. A rotational position transmitter (36) i.e. resolver, determines a rotational position of the rotor relative to the stator. The transmitter includes a resolver rotor (36a) rotating with the rotor, and a resolver stator (36b) fixed to the rotor. The resolver stator is arranged at a cylindrical cover element (34) i.e. cover sheet, which defines the cooling passage.
