<p>A paper shredder comprises a top cover (1), a bottom cover, a cassette mechanism portion, an electrical portion and a refuse receptacle. One to three openings (2) are provided on the top cover. The electrical portion is designed with a fluid-damping time-delay switch (3). A plate (20) for adjusting a paper inlet port is arranged on the top cover. The fluid-damping time-delay switch prevents a column body from moving by a viscosity of the fluid in a cylinder thereof. Therefore, the time delay can be effectively achieved after paper shredding, which is convenient for completely cleaning away paper scraps stuck between cutters. Furthermore, the plate for adjusting the paper inlet port can effectively adjust an amount of the paper within a nominal thickness range of paper to be shredded or slightly above it, and a width of the paper inlet port within a range meeting safety requirements, which can effectively protect the paper shredder and prolong service life thereof.</p> |
