<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for making new activation of biofunctions as well as activation of immunological functions, alleviating a sense of fatigue in the aged, and improving the arterial stiffness. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the composition containing an essence of Cistanche deserticola Y.
