<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably carry a developer on a developer carrying surface. <P>SOLUTION: A developer supply device of the present invention comprises a carrying auxiliary member. The carrying auxiliary member is disposed at a position separated from a developer conveyance path so as to face a developer carrying surface on an upstream side from a carrying position in the moving direction of the developer carrying surface by rotation driving of a developer carrying member. The carrying auxiliary member is arranged so that a voltage for generating an electric field in which a developer charged to a predetermined polarity is moved to the developer carrying surface is applied between the carrying auxiliary member and the developer carrying member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
