摘要 FIELD: thermoelectric instrumentation engineering; cascade thermoelectric batteries. ^ SUBSTANCE: p and n branches of thermoelectric-battery cascades are interconnected into following circuit: p branch-patchboard-n branch. Butt-end surface of p branch contacts one of patchboard surfaces and n branch comes in contact with opposite end of opposing surface. These p and n branches are disposed in one plane perpendicular to patchboard. Parts of patchboards affording cold contacts protrude beyond thermoelectric battery surface and those providing hot contacts, beyond its other surface. Thermal contact of cascades is provided due to joining cold patchboards of preceding cascade with hot patchboards of next cascade through high-heat conducting dielectric interlayer, except for extreme patchboards. Cascades are electrically interconnected by connecting extreme branch of preceding cascade to that of next one by means of extreme patchboard to form cold contact. One of extreme branches of cascade (except for first and Nth ones) are in electric contact with extreme branch of preceding cascade by means of patchboard and other one, with extreme branch of next cascade. Electrical energy is supplied through contact pads provided on extreme branch of first cascade and on that of Nth cascade. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and operating reliability, facilitated manufacture. ^ 1 cl, 1 dwg
