<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce exposure unevenness in a shutter scanning direction due to a difference in lens and the like in a shutter mechanism using a mechanical shutter and an electronic shutter in combination. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises an imaging element that receives light having passed through an optical unit to accumulate the light as an electric charge, and a mechanical shutter that moves in a direction for exposing the imaging element and a direction for shielding the imaging element, and sequentially performs scanning for starting charge accumulation for each area of the imaging element. The imaging device switches and executes, according to a state of the optical unit, first exposure control for exposing the imaging element, thereafter performing scanning for starting charge accumulation, and making the mechanical shutter move to shield the imaging element, and second exposure control for making the mechanical shutter move to expose the imaging element, and thereafter making the mechanical shutter move to shield the imaging element without performing scanning for starting charge accumulation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
