#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves determining horizontal and vertical reference edges (RH,RV) of a profile by irradiating laser and capturing image of the profile using detection devices (10,20) comprising laser sources and cameras. The actual position of a checkpoint on the profile is determined based on the reference edges and the actual position is compared with target position.
