<p>PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus using the same for draining residual water in a cooling coil by spraying compressed air in multistage are provided to estimate actual end point when the residual water is finished discharging because decompression time depending on change of pressure value is intelligently analyzed. CONSTITUTION: A method for draining residual water in a cooling coil is as follows. If pressure of a tank(11) is less than the lower limit of effective discharge pressure, a compressor(10) starts supplying air to the tank. If the tank pressure is more than the upper limit of the effective discharge pressure, the compressor stops supplying the air to the tank. If the tank pressure is reached to the upper limit of the effective discharge pressure, an air inflow control valve(12) is opened and a drain control valve is closed. If the tank pressure is reached to the lower limit of the effective discharge pressure, the air inflow control valve is closed and the drain control valve is opened.</p> |
