<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable storage of optional vehicle information desired by a user among vehicle information during traveling of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When a predetermined condition for storing in a first nonvolatile memory 5 specific vehicle information among vehicle information stored in a volatile memory 4 is satisfied, a vehicle information storage device 1, besides making the first nonvolatile memory 5 store the specific vehicle information, specifies vehicle information desired by a user.
